We love baking and cooking for others but when we're on vacation, you don't always have access to all your ingredients.
This strawberry pie recipe is perfect for making at the beach! Plan ahead and pack up the dry ingredients in a bag at home before your trip. It is homemade, easy, and delicious! A perfect summer dessert!
Magnolia Breeze Strawberry Pie
Two 9" Pie Crusts (we used freezer because it's vacation!)
5 cups of sliced strawberries
3/4 cup sugar (plus some for sprinkling)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup flour
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Pull crusts out of freezer while you slice the strawberries. Mix berries, sugar, salt, and flour.
Pour filling into crust and top with second crust. Crimp the edges and cut vent slices.
Optional: brush top with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
Put foil around edges and pie on a foil-covered baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, then pull the foil off the edges and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.
Let cool and set overnight.
Put on your Magnolia Breeze dress and take the pie to meet your family and friends for dinner and you will be sure to be a hit at the party!
